On Monday 30 April, Manal Younus, an Australian based freelance storyteller and performance poet, visited Ruyton. Her powerful presentation of spoken-word poetry, was incredibly well received by Year 9 and Year 5 students

​Practice, Practice, Practice – as little as 10 minutes a day

On Wednesday 21 February and Friday 23 February, 20 girls in Year 3 to Year 6 came to library to attend a lunch time origami activity.

This year within Senior School, we will be focusing on the stories of strong women and girls. Students are encouraged to explore texts that feature strong female characters, facing the challenges and vicissitudes of life. Stories of girls who challenge expectation and create their own reality.

​Our new Fandom club is up and running!

Our congratulations are extended to Paige (Year 8) who is the winner of our Read Around the World competition.

​On Wednesday 30 August, a group of Lit Club students used public transport to travel to Federation Square in order to attend the Melbourne Writers Festival.
