During Book Week, The Year 6 Library Team challenged Junior School Girls to create a diorama based on a scene from their favourite book, but with one twist - using items from around the home that would otherwise be thrown away, to make a treasured book-inspired theme using ‘trash’!
Congratulations to everyone who entered a diorama in our ‘Trash to Treasure’ competition. It was obvious how much effort went into each and every diorama and it was wonderful to see girls’ interpretations of their favourite books.
All the dioramas are currently on display in the Library. Come and have a look and see if you can guess the book, based on the scenes created by some very creative and clever students!
